Sahara’s String Trio Musicians
Sahara’s string trio includes violin, viola and cello with the option of including Sahara’s saxophonist performing on flute and saxophone. The electrifying combination of strings and saxophone is part of Sahara’s signature sound, being one of the first classical music bands to fuse these together and create unforgettable performances and event entertainment.
Sahara’s string trio musicians consist of electric violinists Colette and Lexi, and saxophonist, Sarah Louise Ings.
Electric violinist Colette, studied at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and has performed in in Micheal Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, and regularly tours internationally with world famous pop-stars.
Lexi, Sahara’s second violinist, often graces our screens in shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent. When she’s not smiling at the camera, she’s performing in front of thousands with the likes of Sam Smith, Rod Stuart and Il Divo.
Saxophonist Sarah Louise Ings is not only a performer, but a producer and the creator of Sahara. After studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Sarah has gone on to establish herself as a genre-defying musician, known for her exciting classical crossover style. Her unique approach to musicianship has seen her tour with Jonathan Antoine, perform internationally with her own shows and band Sahara, write for various musicians including Operatico and share a stage with Olly Murs.
